Parents / Guardians can access the teacher request forms at the main office in each elementary school beginning May 16, 2023. Request forms will need to be turned in on or before May 30th to be considered. Please remember requests are not automatically guaranteed as we must consider the individual academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs of each student and the overall well-being of all students. Debbie White is an Educational Assistant in Title 1 at Irrigon Elementary School. She has worked for Morrow County School District for three years. Debbie is described as an exceptional assistant in the Title 1 room, always demonstrating competence with a friendly attitude and pleasant demeanor to both students and staff. She is very self-motivated and independent, successfully interacting with students during lessons. “Debbie is 100% for the kids of Irrigon Elementary!”

MCSD buildings are back to normal operations after being placed in a "secure" status for 56 minutes. This was a precautionary measure as a result of numerous active shooter calls received across Oregon, including one in Hermiston.
This is a very stressful situation for all involved and we appreciate the quick response from students and staff. We also appreciate more than ever our dedicated community SRO's and local law enforcement leadership.
